Sustainability
Sürdürülebilirlik, her adımımızda...
As Moteks Tekstil; From our R&D projects to our investments, from material selection in production to energy use, from the protection of natural resources to the evaluation of waste resources, there are traces of sustainability in every step we take, big or small.
The increase in population, increase in living standards, industrialization and the contribution of technology to production have brought environmental and industrial working environment problems. The acceleration of production with the industrial revolution and the unconscious use of natural resources, which have reached the highest level in the last 30-40 years, have led to the emergence of a new consciousness.
Sustainability
Sustainability in Textile
Today, sustainability is a business concept adopted and applied in many sectors, from food to automotive, from construction to energy and textile. Sustainability also has an important place in the textile industry, which uses many natural resources from the cotton to be woven to the yarn to be used, from the amount of water to be used in the production phase to electricity, in terms of the production process. However, the textile sector, which is directly affected by fashion; It is open to fast consumption+more production+more consumption habits and therefore it is essential to have sustainability awareness. Otherwise, it may cause the resources to be destroyed. This is where sustainability comes into play. Due to his responsibility to future generations and nature, human beings understand that their environment should be protected and discipline themselves in this way. It sets certain standards, inspects and imposes sanctions so that the next generations can use these resources and that these resources are not destroyed.
